breeding, starts with a registration session at 9:30 a.m. Dogs must be AKC (American Kennel Club) registered or have registrable litter numbers. Mixed-breed dogs, said Albers, must have canine partner numbers, and they’ll only be allowed to participate in performance matches.

“We want to teach people about the pure breeds and what they’re supposed to be,” she explained.
